Dear West High alumni,
It is that time of year again where the West High Alumni Association asks for your help in raising money to provide educational scholarships for deserving West High students.
Since 1986, the association has awarded over 1.5 million dollars in scholarships, helping more than 1,000 West High students pursue their higher education goals. In 2018 alone, we awarded 45 scholarships to graduating seniors, all of who demonstrated financial need.
These scholarships would not be possible without your support. In the past decade alone, the average cost of college has increased by nearly 30 percent to $22,355, before textbooks and fees. Your generous support of our scholarship program more important than ever in the face of the increased financial strain on students.
Can we count on you for a contribution this year? We welcome any amount you can give. Whether you give $5 or $1,000, you are making a difference in the lives of deserving students.
